Fit the source proportions within custom dimensions.
Output geometry
Review the calculated even-pixel width and height.
360p, 480p, 720p or 1080p?
These dimensions are examples for an oriented 16:9 landscape source, with no crop, extra turn or padding. Presets set the height; other aspect ratios produce a different width. Choose by the detail you need, then check the actual file size.
| Preset | 16:9 example | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| 360p | 640 × 360 | Small viewing copy; fine text can become unreadable. |
| 480p | 854 × 480 | A modest size for speech and simple scenes. |
| 720p | 1280 × 720 | Check motion and text at a useful starting resolution. |
| 1080p | 1920 × 1080 | Retain detail when the source and bitrate support it. |
What to check before exporting
The preset number is the output height in pixels. Width follows the oriented source aspect ratio and is rounded to an even number, so portrait outputs have different dimensions. Upscaling cannot restore missing detail. Resizing re-encodes video; cropping and padding are separate controls.
Choose a compatible output profile and review the source streams, selected range and final settings. Processing uses structured controls, and incompatible combinations are rejected before queueing. Download the requested result when final validation completes.
A real workspace. A result you can inspect.
This actual product screenshot shows source playback, range selection, an uploaded-audio area and encoding settings. It illustrates the shared converter; your operation opens its own relevant controls after inspection.
A processed preview creates a separate short task. It covers the first ten seconds of your range at up to 360p in a compatible format. Image and subtitle exports still need inspection of the requested final download.

Questions about this workflow
Does 720p always mean 1280 × 720?
No. That is the usual 16:9 landscape example. The preset sets the height to 720 pixels; the calculated width depends on the source proportions and selected transformations.
Can I close the tab while processing?
Yes. Submitted conversion tasks run in the background. Return to your account to check progress and download results before the retention period ends.
What are the upload and storage limits?
Current source limits are 2 GiB and two hours per file. Files have a 72-hour retention period; task, collection and resource limits also apply. The workspace shows the applicable limits. Free and Pro currently share feature access.

Crop video
Crop a rectangular area from your video using precise pixel coordinates. Preview the selected area, preserve its proportions and export the result.
Rotate video
Rotate a sideways or upside-down video by 90°, 180° or 270°. Check the oriented source, choose your output and download a newly encoded video.
Batch converter
Convert several files with shared settings and a separate result for every source. Reuse inspected uploads and follow each task from queue to download.
